Hosanna

As Jesus made what has been called the Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem a few days before his "trial" and execution, it stood in stark contrast to the pomp and circumstance of Pilate's entry on the other side of Jerusalem with all the might of the Roman Empire. Rather than standing in opposition to the Romans, Jesus came as the Servant King riding on a humble donkey. We consider Mark 11:1-11.
