Mark gives us a relatively succinct account of Jesus in the wilderness immediately after his baptism. In his spare description we get a sense of the challenges facing Jesus first thing in his ministry, so soon after hearing the Spirit declare him the beloved of God. We dig into Mark 1:9-15.
