This is the first posting to this platform of sermons from Lincoln Park-Lynnwood United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. As I mentioned in another article, we are experimenting with this outlet. In any case, here is the information about this particular sermon audio: Transformation isn't something we do; it's something God does. But God calls us to avoid conforming to this world. We can only do so by claiming the power of God's grace. In so doing, we avoid false humility AND thinking too highly of ourselves, while opening ourselves up to be conduits of spirit. We consider the deep theology of Romans 8:1-12.
