The story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch is familiar to Christians. We may need reminding that the story isn't just a conversion story, but a story of how Jesus breaks down barriers and welcomes the outcast (like the eunuch, who would have been excluded from the Temple because of his emasculation) into the family of God. We consider Acts 8:26-40.
