Reflections on Holy Week

Coffee with Donn, April 1, 2026

This week carries a different kind of weight.

As we move through Holy Week, we’re reminded that the story of Jesus isn’t rushed. It unfolds slowly, through celebration, confusion, confrontation, silence, and waiting. Palm Sunday gives way to overturned tables on Monday. Expectation gives way to uncertainty. And somewhere in the middle of it all, we begin to see more clearly that Jesus isn’t always who we expected, but rather always who we need.

Even now.

In this midweek “Coffee with Donn” (even though I had no coffee), I reflected on how this week meets us in real life—grief, loss, questions, and all—and how Jesus enters that space not to remove it, but to walk it with us.

If you’re carrying something heavy this week, you’re not alone.

Take a few minutes with the replay. Let it be a quiet companion as you walk through these days.
