I mentioned this earlier, but I think it’s worth pulling out in short form: the most loving thing you can do right now is stay away from other people, because you can carry this virus to others without having any symptoms yourself.
I’m not great at math, but this just makes sense: If you have 50 people together, the odds that at least one has the virus that causes COVID-19 get higher. If just one has it, that person could infect all 50. If you have three people together, odd of one having the virus are much lower, and even if someone has it, that person will only infect two other people.
We can still connect. You’re connecting with me right now, though I know it’s not the same. Make a phone call, send an email, send a text. Heck, even write a letter. Connecting now matters more than ever. Just don’t get closer than six feet. Oh, and like your mama told you, wash your hands. Who knows where they’ve been?
It will be hard. Just remember: you are doing the loving thing for someone else. Good job.
