A welcoming, small church where you can be known.

A long-standing presence in the Lincoln Park neighborhood since 1903.

We’re a small, long-established church in Knoxville, Tennessee. And if you’ve ever wondered whether a place like this might feel closed-off or hard to enter, you’re not alone.

What we hear from people who visit, though, is something different. They tell us it feels warm. Unpretentious. Easy to step into.

We don’t try to be impressive. We try to be real.

Our life together is shaped by a simple calling: Connect, Grow, Serve. We connect with God and one another, grow in faith through worship and Scripture, and serve our neighbors with compassion.

What to Expect on Sunday

We gather for worship each Sunday at 10:00 AM at 3120 Pershing Street, Knoxville, TN.

Get directions

When you walk in, someone will greet you and help you get oriented. You’ll find conversation, not pressure. And if anything in the service feels unfamiliar, someone will quietly help you follow along.

Our worship is traditional in style, but the spirit of the room is relaxed and supportive. You don’t have to know all the responses or “how things are done” to belong here.

After worship, we offer an inductive Bible study. That means we explore Scripture together through conversation, not just listening to one person teach.

You can participate as much or as little as you’re comfortable.

About the Sermon

The sermon matters to us. It is thoughtful, grounded in Scripture, and shaped to connect with everyday life.

But it is not the whole point of why we gather.

You can listen to a sermon anywhere, including right here on this page. What you can’t get from a recording is what happens in the room: people who know your name, care how you’re doing, and walk alongside you in faith.

Church is not just a place to hear a message. It is a place to be known, and to know others.

Moments like this shape who we are. (Our group is smaller on most Sundays, but the spirit of care and connection you see here is real.)

Who We Are (and Aren’t)

We’re not a large church, and we don’t have programs for everything. What we do have is a community where people know each other, care for each other, and make space for others to belong.

If you’ve ever felt lost in a crowd, you may find something different here.

We take our faith seriously, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. There’s room here for questions, growth, and honest conversation.

We’re not in the judging business. We’re in the welcoming business.
